When/how to get there

Generally, your accommodation is booked for one or two days before the start of your course. If you wish to visit the place before starting your course, you can request that your accommodation be available to you in advance (this requires you to prepare your language study trip well in advance). You may also arrive before the beginning of the course and book accommodation (hotel, youth hostel, apartment etc.) yourself for the duration of your choice.

Once you arrive at the train station or the airport of your destination, a person in charge of welcoming students from the language school or a member of your host family will come to collect you in order to bring you to your accommodation. If you arrive well in advance of the start of your course and you have booked accommodation yourself, you will have to make your own way there. Therefore, don't forget to get directions before you leave so that you won't get lost on the way.
