What is the duration of a language study trip abroad?

The longer you travel abroad for, the more progress you are going to make but however long your language study trip is, you will have acquired a good linguistic basis as you will have been immersed in the language.

After 1 week abroad, you begin to get to know your surroundings, to have a well-established routine of classes, to get to know the teachers and to adapt to a new routine.

After 2 weeks of a language study trip, you get to know more people, you can find nice places to go outside of the school and of your accommodation.

After 3 or 4 weeks of a language study trip, you begin to notice the progress you're making in the language and to integrate in the culture of the country.

It goes without saying that the progress you make in the language depends strongly on your personal motivation during your language study trip.
There is of course no restriction on the duration of a language study trip abroad. You can therefore travel abroad for as much time as you wish (from 1 week to 1 year, and even longer).

A language study trip can be either extended or combined with travel in the region or the country as it is a good opportunity for you to practise what you will have learned during classes.
