All of the German language exams are certified by the Goethe Institute, the international cultural institute of Germany. The Goethe Institute proposes German language studies abroad and encourages international cultural exchanges. Among others, it proposes internationally recognised exams:

ZMP (Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung)
ZOP Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung)
KDS (Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom)
